The Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care Program aims to develop partnerships between the Department of Health and Ageing, culturally diverse communities, residential aged care facilities and other relevant aged care services. As well as supporting aged care facilities to provide culturally appropriate services, the program also develops and maintains links with communities to determine their needs and provide them with up-to-date information on the services available. It also uses the information gathered to help Government and other service providers to understand the issues involved with culturally appropriate aged care. |
