Welcome to the Migrant Resource Centre Aged Care Team
The Migrant Resource Centre’s Aged Care Team provide support and services for elderly migrants and refugees within the southern Tasmania region.
Our Aged Care Services include:
- Home and Community Care (HACC)
- Community Aged Care Packages (CACP)
- Community Partners Program (CPP)
- Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care Program (PICAC)
The Migrant Resource Centre help elderly migrants living in communities throughout Hobart and Southern Tasmania. If you are an elderly migrant or refugee and need care or assistance, we can help you with:
- care to stay in your own home
- assistance to stay active and not feel lonely
- support from bi-cultural workers who can speak eight different languages plus a range of dialects
- information about aged care services
- information to help you to move from your home into residential aged care
- information and support with many other issues for healthy ageing
