Function Room

Several rooms are available for day or evening use by migrant communities for meetings, training and social activities. The prices as at December 2008 are:

Regular users - MRC Members who use MRC facilities after hours and at least once per month, including full use of kitchen facilities:

  • $40.00 Migrant Resource Centre annual fee
  • plus $5.00 per use fee
  • Both MRC Membership and per use fee are calculated and payable in advance, generally in January.

Casual use - MRC Members who use MRC facilities for casual use after MRC office hours, only tea / coffee making facilities available:

  • $10.00 fee per use payable when your group representative collects a MRC Swipe card.

Functions and / or Annual general Meetings - includes full use of kitchen facilities:

  • $70.00 fee is charged which covers standard cleaning and utility costs incurres by the MRC.
  • $100.00 deposit, this will be refunded after your event provided all facilities are left clean, tidy and in good order.

Computer

A community computer with Microsoft Office 2003 Program including:

  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • Microsoft Word
  • Acrobat Reader

TV & Video-recorder

TV and Video-recorder for use at the centre Free Of Charge.

Photocopier

  • 10 cents per A4 copy
  • 15 cents double sided-A4
  • 20 cents per A3 copy
  • 30 cents per double sided-A3

Sewing Machines

Sewing machines for use at the Centre (no charge)
